Christine Anderson was born in San Francisco and raised in the
beautiful hills of Marin County. She studied at the Academy of Art in
San Francisco and traveled extensively in Europe before returning to
complete her Bachelors degree in English at California State University
Stanislaus. She has painted since her high school years, but only
pursued a professional art career in recent years, after raising her
two children.
After competing at the Carmel Art Festival, her
paintings have been increasingly popular and sought by collectors as
originals and prints.
She paints in oil and watercolor—employing
a variety of styles from abstract to realistic. She enjoys Plein Air
painting when she is not working on commissions in her studio. |
